Accreditation

The Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) has been appointed by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as an accredited provider of continuing professional development (CPD) of Section 1 Group Learning Activities.

CCS periodically implements changes to accreditation processes in response to Royal College revised accreditation guidelines. Please be sure to visit this page regularly to review any recent changes/updates.

To qualify for accreditation, professional development programs must fulfill Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada guidelines.

Please allow at least eight weeks in advance of the intended date to advertise the approved CPD activity. This time is required to process accreditation applications.

For more information about obtaining accreditation for your program, call the CPD Division at 1-877-569-3407, email cpd@ccs.ca
