Patient Education

CCS Patient Education resources are intended to help inform patients and their caregivers about their cardiovascular health.

Your Complete Guide to Atrial Fibrillation” modules were co-developed with the CCS and the Heart and Stroke Foundation to help atrial fibrillation patients understand, manage and live well with their condition. Links to national and provincial resources such as theHeart Failure Matters Website, the BC's Heart Failure Network Website and the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research provide practical information for patients, families and caregivers to help understand, monitor, and manage heart failure. As well, make sure to check out the Infographic based on the Portfolio Diet, a vegetarian diet which can help to lower LDL-cholesterol.
