Standards for Quality CPD

To mitigate many of the risks associated with CPD development, the CCS CPD Committee has defined its own standards for high quality CPD. These standards build upon the Royal College standards and CMA guidelines and address issues specific to CCS that could affect quality and reputation including perception of bias, resource capacity and expertise, alignment with other CCS programs and strategic priorities.

All accreditation requests including co-developed programs, CCC symposia and other physician organization’s programs will be accepted only if they comply with Royal College standards, and CMA guidelines. All program proposals submitted will be reviewed against the CCS Quality CPD Checklist for Education Programs.
