Keeping the Cardiovascular Community Together

In 2003, the CCS Council approved a document entitled the Affiliate Policy whereby the CCS actively supports the growth and development of the subspecialty areas of cardiology.  These subspecialty groups through their networks and dedicated members contribute to strengthen the overall advancement of cardiovascular health and care in Canada.

CCS provides subspecialty groups an established administrative operating structure (secretariat services) to assist them in their everyday work and their overall mandate. This also provides the opportunity for closer collaboration on programs and services to the cardiovascular community. The CCS currently offers secretariat services to the following affiliates.

Canadian Association of Interventional Cardiology
Canadian Heart Rhythm Society
Canadian Nuclear Cardiology Society
Canadian Pediatric Cardiology Association
Canadian Society of Cardiac Surgeons
